SCOOP CONTROLLED FLUID COUPLING – TYPE SCR26B

Identical in operation and application to the SCR24/25 ranges this product has been developed to eliminate the need for very accurate and time consuming alignment procedures.

The basic fluid coupling design is the same as other ranges but the driving plate and multi disc semi flexible elements are eliminated. The unit is mounted on a pair of spherical roller bearings  on input and output shafts, which require only fully flexible couplings to connect to the motor and driven machine.

These units are designed for high power applications for clutching duty in such applications as mills, crushers, car  shredders etc, and for the variable speed control of fans  and pumps.

This reliable range of Variable Filling Fluid Coupling is available in the original Fluidrive range of sizes from size 18SCR24/25 to size 52SCR24/25, with the addition of the smaller size 14SCR24/25 – the widest range available in the world today.

Its applications range from the variable speed control of fans and pumps, clutching duty to provide ultra smooth shock free starting to high power mills etc, and to provide acceleration torque limitation to long bulk handling conveyors.
